Glenbrook students did exceptionally well with three students qualifying for the Year 7&8 Auckland inter-zone competition at Muriwai Beach next week and seven students placing in the top ten. Kia ora Parents and Whanau, There have been lots of amazing things happening across our kura in the last two weeks. Last week our Y8s had their Snow Camp. It was such a wonderful week regardless of the rain. Our students (and parents) showed their perseverance, resilience, positivity and teamwork as they skied, snowboarded, rafted, hiked, biked, swam, tramped and explored all the beautiful opportunities throughout our camp. Morena Parents and Whanau, We are very excited to welcome Mrs Christina Smit. Mrs Smit is a new local to the Glenbrook area and comes to us from The Gardens School. An experienced teacher who is passionate about the education of children. Mrs Smit will be working four days a week, Monday to Thursday in Te Whenua.  We also welcome Miss Sixsmith, who returns part time from maternity leave.
