Growing up in Glenbrook I have maintained strong connections with the school having been a Glenbrook student myself. I now reside in Glenbrook with my husband Karl and two children (David and Daniel) who attend Glenbrook School. I have been teaching at Glenbrook School for the past 3 years. I graduated from the University of Waikato in 2017, having been a scholarship recipient from TeachNZ with a Kupe High Achievers award. The school value that resonates with me is AKO as I love to learn through the multiple learning opportunities that I have as a teacher at Glenbrook School. I love being able to learn together with my students through all curriculum activities, and have a particular interest in The Arts. Outside of school I enjoy making the most of spending time with my whanau, enjoying sports and outdoor activities. I also enjoy keeping active through crossfit and gym based exercise. I also love the summer months, especially being able to enjoy summer BBQ’s with whanau and relaxing with a good book. I am super excited to be one of the teachers in Team Tui this year and look forward to enjoying all of the new learning experiences in 2021.
