Out of Zone Information

Out of Zone applications for 2022

The Glenbrook School Board of Trustees will invite applications from out of zone parents who wish to enrol their children at Glenbrook School for the 2023 academic year in September 2022.  Out of zone applications are sought from new families and also for the siblings of families already in attendance at Glenbrook School but who now live out of zone.

Enrolment at Glenbrook School is governed by an enrolment scheme. These details are available at the school office, or on the website https://glenbrookschoolnz.com/. We request that a covering letter detailing why you would like your child to attend Glenbrook School be attached to the application forms for Out of Zone applications. All forms and your covering letter must be received by September/ October 2022.

The Board will determine the number of places available in the Year 1 – 8 area of the school. This is in line with the enrolment scheme guidelines. Preference will be given to students who meet the criteria for Priority Two to Five.  If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.  Parents will be informed if a ballot is to take place.  If selected by ballot you will receive verbal and written confirmation of acceptance.  If no ballot is required you will receive verbal and written confirmation of acceptance by the date specified.

Enrolment Application forms are available from the school office, or if preferred you are able to download the attachments below.  No online enrolments will be accepted, manual forms and cover letters must be used for all out of zone applications.
