I grew up in Glenbrook, attending Glenbrook Kindergarten, Glenbrook School, and Waiuku College. Glenbrook is my turangawaewae – the place where I feel most connected. For the last 14 months, I have been living and working in Calliope, which is in Central Queensland. I’m really looking forward to coming home to New Zealand to continue my studies at Waikato University. And I won’t be sorry to say goodbye to the Aussie spiders! I love going to the beach, reading, painting, and spending time with my family and friends. I am excited to start my teaching career at Glenbrook School.
