I grew up locally and completed my Bachelors degree in Primary Education at Waikato University. I then completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning. I love living locally on my family’s dairy farm and being close to my whanau. In my spare time I enjoy playing hockey, watching rugby, and hiking around our beautiful country. Leading and attending EOTC activities and camps  is one of my passions. I am looking forward to another exciting and busy year at Glenbrook School!

Nō Glenbrook āhau

I grew up in Glenbrook and love the supportive, tight knit community. I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Linguistics and Spanish at Victoria University, and returned to study. I received the Graduate Diploma of Teaching through the University of Waikato in 2021. I have been fortunate enough to have lived in Argentina and Spain, and have spent time exploring the world through my previous career as a Flight Attendant. I am passionate about igniting students’ curiosity of the wider world and connecting this to what we are learning in the classroom.

I am excited to begin another year in supporting students to realise their full potential here at Glenbrook School!

Kia Ora, I have been fortunate to work with a wonderful team of teachers in Pouakai for the past three years. Having originally taught at Glenbrook, it has been my privilege to return and work with the wonderful students in year 7 and 8 and also a truly amazing staff. I live in Waiuku with my lovely wife (also a teacher) and two dogs (quite mischievous). I am lucky enough to truly enjoy what I do, but I  really enjoy teaching Mathematics and Physical Education the most. I enjoy being outdoors, such as hiking, running and cycling being my most enjoyed pursuits. Travel is also one of my true loves and time in our beautiful country as well as experiencing what the world has to offer a great motivator to get out there.
