Hello! Kia Ora!

Originally I grew up on the North Shore in Auckland and then moved south 20 years ago to Papakura and then Glenbrook.  Glenbrook has been home for 16 years.  I completed my Graduate Diploma of Teaching in 2005 and have spent most of my time teaching Junior students from new entrants to year 2.  I am married to my author/illustrator husband with four beautiful, fun loving children.  Three of my children currently  attend Glenbrook School and enjoy all that Glenbrook School community has to offer.  I am passionate about providing our youngest learners with rich language and learning experiences as they enter their schooling.  Outside of school I am busy with mum life, parenting, reading, and when time allows seeking out trips away to our second home Tairua.

Graduate Diploma in Teaching

Bachelor of Arts

Hello! Kia Ora!

I grew up in Waikato. After high school I attended the University of Waikato. I completed my Graduate Diploma of Teaching in 2000. In 2019 I graduated from The University of Auckland with a Graduate Diploma in TESSOL (Teaching English in Schools to Speakers of Other Languages). I have 2 beautiful girls: 8 year old Isla and 10 year old Niamh. We love to go on mini adventures together as a family, including exploring the stunning Awhitu peninsula, visiting Auckland Zoo and mountain biking in Rotorua Redwood Forest. This is my seventh year at Glenbrook School and as Deputy Principal I love being a part of the learning journey of all our amazing students. I am a passionate teacher and education leader who is excited about supporting and seeing the students in Team Haast realise their potential.
