Kia ora whānau,

I am very excited to continue my journey with team Tui into 2021. Having grown up in Hawkes Bay, I have called Waiuku home since 2013. I originally grew up in Taradale with my first school experience being Mangatahi Primary, a rural school with a roll of only 30. From there I moved to Taradale intermediate and then Taradale high until I moved to Orewa College when I was fifteen. After leaving college I lived for one year in Doha, Qatar and worked as a teaching assistant at an international school. Since then I have completed six years of education at tertiary level with my two main qualifications being a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) and a Graduate Diploma in Teacher (Primary School Education). I have three children, Grace (9), Blake (6), and Layla (4); Grace and Blake both attend Glenbrook school with Layla due to enroll in September 2021. This will be my ninth year teaching children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my whānau, playing games, and playing my ukulele.
