Kia Ora Koutou and welcome Glenbrook whanau, parents and community. Whakawhanaungatanga: At Glenbrook School we work as a community together. Cross Country

Yesterday was such a beautiful day … and what better way to celebrate the certain soon arrival of Spring than with our annual Cross Country event. This year the running took place over the road from school at the Maxwell’s farm. As you will see from the photos, the children that chose to take part really gave it their all! Well done, Te Whenua 🙂

Rocket man!

Last Friday Te Whenua had a fascinating visit from Gerry Munden, aka the Rocket Man from Aerospace. He bought lots of interesting rockets along with him, and we could see how they are designed to come apart into different segments as they power through space. Many paper versions were created through the day, complete with onboard fuel supply and detachable segments! We loved watching Gerry and Emily set off two rockets on the top field!
