My journey into teaching started in a remote village in Northern India, where I was inspired by my mother, who is also a teacher. I often helped her with her school work and from a young age, this sparked my passion for teaching. I initially studied Engineering in India and later continued my studies in Auckland followed by spending a few years in the Engineering field. However, teaching has always been my true passion and lifelong dream. I am a dedicated teacher who enjoys creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. I believe in building open and positive relationships with my students so they feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading and travelling. My husband and I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures and history. We also have a little girl who will be turning one in July, who brings us great joy.
