Winter Illness We are currently experiencing a high level of winter illness like many other schools. Over the past three weeks, many children and staff have been unwell. Tēnā koutou e te whānau, Last week I attended the Auckland Primary Principals’ Conference in Taupō, where the Minister of Education shared some important updates that will directly affect schools like Glenbrook. A key focus was on improving learning support, including increased funding for early intervention and teacher aide hours. Power has now been fully restored, along with water, phones, and Wi-Fi. As a rural school, we not connected to town services.
