I have been teaching since 1991. One of the things I love about primary teaching is how much variety we have in a day. I particularly enjoy teaching Maths, Writing and Art.

After attending Waikato University, I taught in two rural Waikato schools before moving to Auckland in 1994. Here I taught in two city schools: Remuera Primary and Conifer Grove School. We moved out to Glenbrook in 2003.

I am a country kid. I was born not far from here in Pukekohe Hospital and grew up in rural North Waikato. Community events such as Calf Club Day and our annual School Picnic Day were always big highlights.
