Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education- University of Auckland

Hi there! Welcome to my world of learning.
I am super excited to be the teacher in Te Ra in 2020
I have lived all over the Pacific including Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Fiji and Samoa. I was schooled in Australia before moving to New Zealand and then spent six years back in Samoa with my husband and two children before moving back to New Zealand in 2012. I joined the Glenbrook School community in 2019 after completing my three year Bachelor of Education Degree at Auckland University. My daughter and son also joined Glenbrook School in 2019 and are flourishing in the country environment. 2020 will be an exciting time and I am looking forward to the new adventure ahead in Te Ra.

Kia ora Koutou

I have a long history with the Franklin area. I was born in Waiuku and grew up in rural Pukekohe where I attended Pukekohe High School. After training at Ardmore Teachers’ College I taught with my late husband in many places in New Zealand. I was a teaching principal for ten years at a small rural school on the outskirts of Tauranga before moving back to the Pukekohe area.

I have a daughter, son and grandchildren who I enjoy travelling, cycling, reading, going to the beach and following many sports (especially netball) with.
