Kia Ora!
I have the pleasure of teaching the amazing Te Marama class of 2019. I am new to the school so here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Taradale, Napier with my first school experience being Mangatahi Primary, a rural school with a roll of 30. From there I attended Taradale intermediate and Taradale High School before moving to Orewa College when I was fifteen. When I was eighteen I lived in Doha, Qatar for one year and worked as a teacher’s assistant at an international school. Since then I have completed six years at university level with my two main qualifications being a Bachelor of Teaching (in early childhood education) and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (in primary school education). I have taught for six years in early childhood education, my most recent position at Glenbrook Kindergarten.
