Kia Ora!
I have the pleasure of teaching the amazing New Entrant and Year 1 students in Parekereke. I grew up in the Waikato in Te Awamutu and after high school went to Waikato University. I completed my Graduate Diploma of Teaching in 2000 and have worked in a variety of different schools from small to very big. I have two beautiful girls – 6 year old Isla and 8 year old Niamh. We love to go on mini adventures together as a family, including mountain biking in Rotorua Redwood Forest, visiting Auckland Zoo and Miranda Hot Pools. I look forward to being part of the learning journey of the fantastic Parekereke students at Glenbrook School.

Kia Ora!
I am originally from Scotland, having moved to New Zealand as a child. I grew up in Auckland’s North Shore and moved to the Franklin area in 2015. I love baking and enjoy family time. I have an adventurous young daughter who I enjoy playing tea parties with. My husband also has two daughters who are older, that visit often. We enjoy going to the swimming pools, trips to the park and family trips around Auckland. I have always been passionate about working with children. I believe that relationships lie at the heart of effective teaching. As a teacher I strive to build positive relationships and foster a love for learning.
