Mrs Melissa Fosterfosterm@glenbrook.school.nz | Professional Qualifications: Bachelor of Teaching endorsed in Primary Education |
My teaching journey began 8 years ago when I completed my Bachelor of Education and began working in Early Childhood Education. This was followed by my transition into Primary School Education here at Glenbrook School. This experience strengthened my passion for creating positive learning environments for our youngest learners and seeing them flourish in their learning. I am passionate about creating welcoming learning spaces where tamariki feel confident, curious, and ready to learn. Supporting smooth transitions into school and building strong foundations in exploration, problem solving, early literacy and numeracy is at the heart of my teaching practice. Outside the classroom you will find me enjoying the outdoors with my husband and three tamariki. I am a mother to two girls aged 7 and 9 and a 4 year old boy. I have a love of sport, reading, and exploring our local community. I look forward to working alongside your whaanau and tamariki and seeing our year 0 and 1 aakonga grow, flourish, and discover their potential.
Hello! Kia Ora!
