Kia Ora koutou,
My teaching journey began 7 years ago completing my Bachelor of Education and working in Early Childhood education. Those seven years grew my passion and enthusiasm for providing learning environments which support our youngest learners. This year I made the decision to make the move into Primary School education and to become apart of the Glenbrook School community. I will be teaching alongside the year 0 and 1 tamariki in Parekereke.
I have a passion for inclusive education which focuses on strong relationships with whaanau, tamariki, and kaiako. Nourishing these relationships supports a collaborative learning environment which fosters tamariki in discovering their potential within the classroom.
When I’m not in the classroom, you will often find me alongside my whaanau in the outdoors. I am a mother to three tamariki, two girls, 6 and 8, and a 4 year old boy. I have a love of sport, reading, and the outdoors.
I look forward to working alongside whaanau, tamariki, and kaiako to build a learning environment which supports akonga to realise their potential.
