Kia Ora!
I grew up in the Waikato in Te Awamutu. After high school I attended the University of Waikato. I completed my Graduate Diploma of Teaching in 2000 and have worked in a variety of different schools from small to very big. I have two beautiful girls – 6 year old Isla and 8 year old Niamh. We love to go on mini adventures together as a family, including mountain biking in Rotorua Redwood Forest, visiting Auckland Zoo and Miranda Hot Pools. I love being part of the learning journey of the fantastic Team Piwakawaka students at Glenbrook School. As Deputy Principal and Across School Kahui Ako Lead teacher for the Waiuku area, I also have the pleasure and excitement of visiting classes in other schools. I am very proud to work with the amazing and exceptional teaching staff at Glenbrook School, where relationships are key and learning is accelerated.

Hello! Kia Ora!
I grew up in the Franklin area attending Waiuku college and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Education (ECE) at Manukau Institute of Technology. After completing my Bachelor, I taught in Early Childhood Education for approximately nine years in various early childhood centres and eventually became the Assistant Manager of a Preschool in Pukekohe. I continued on my learning journey and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Teaching through the University of Canterbury. I have a passion for teaching and learning and love seeing students learn and progress into competent and confident members of the learning community. I have an energetic eleven year old son called Jeremiah. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going on walks and spending time at the beach.

Kia Ora Koutou
I grew up in Thames and attended Thames High School, I then went on to Waikato University where I did a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure. In 2014 I started my teaching career at a school in Flat Bush before going on maternity leave in 2017. We recently moved to Waiuku as we love going to the beach, bush walking and exploring our beautiful country. I’m looking forward to joining the Parekereke team and watching confidence and abilities grow and flourish through strong relationships and high quality education.
