Home Learning

Students at all stages are encouraged to devote a regular period of time at home during which they may develop their interests or reinforce ideas and understandings.  If difficulties arise with home learning, the attempt should be noted, the home learning tasks left and the problem handled by the teacher the following day once notified.  At Glenbrook School all students use STEPS to support literacy and  Mathletics to support mathematical learning at the child’s appropriate level.  Education Perfect used in years 3-8 to assist with Te Reo Maori, languages, Science and to extend other curriculum areas. Studyladder can be used to assist with other curriculum. At times students in Teams Kereru, Tui and Haast will have learning in google classroom. 

Junior school students have access to Sunshine Classics and their Magic Words (High Frequency Words).
