Class Trips, Visits and EOTC

As part of the class programme, day visits (or in some cases, overnight camps) are undertaken by classes.  These are a valuable extension of the class programme and involve a large amount of work and organisation.  However, their value is immeasurable.  Parents or caregivers who help on such excursions are essential and any offers of transport or supervision at these times are greatly appreciated.  All new trips need to be planned six weeks ahead giving enough time for permission, RAMS and payment to be put in place.

Parents or caregivers offering transport are requested to provide seatbelts for all passengers in a car with a current warrant of fitness and registration. Parents who are transporting must have a clear full licence. Teachers must complete RAMS for each excursion and camp, and this must be approved by the Principal in advance. Any adults attending overnight camp or excursions require a current police vet completed through the school.
