Ko Tamsin toku ingoa

No Whakahurangi ahau

I am originally from a small town called Stratford, located in the Taranaki region. I went on to study at the University of Waikato, where I gained a conjoint degree in Secondary Teaching and Health, Sport, and Human Performance. After completing my studies, I was drawn to Auckland by the wide range of teaching opportunities, which eventually led me to Glenbrook School.

I believe in building strong relationships with my students and ensuring everyone has a fair go. This fosters trust and helps students feel comfortable in the classroom.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, especially netball. You will most likely find me wherever there is sport—either playing or talking about it.

I am looking forward to incorporating a range of different sports and activities into our classroom this year. I am really excited to teach at Glenbrook School for another busy and enjoyable year.

Kei Aawhitu e noho ana ahau.

Ko Sam toku ingoa

I was born and raised in a town called Oamaru, located in the Otago region of the South Island. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Primary Teaching at the University of Otago in 2021. From 2022-2024 I taught a year 3 and 4 class locally, and I have just returned from teaching in Australia for 6 months.

In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, playing sport and exploring the outdoors. I value family time, and the chance to relax and recharge after a busy school week.

In Te Kauri, we celebrate creativity and we encourage each other to think outside the box. I aim to create a classroom environment where students approach each day with a positive attitude and a strong sense of respect for one another. I believe that school is a place where students should enjoy themselves while also working hard and achieving their best.

I’m excited to support and celebrate the progress and success of all students in Te Kauri this year.
