This will be my fifth year at our wonderful school, and I feel incredibly lucky to be working with such wonderful tamariki, whaanau, and colleagues. I enjoy walking, cooking, and music, and I can’t wait to learn more about what you enjoy too. In our classroom, I aim to create a safe, caring, and fun environment where everyone feels confident to try new things. My teaching philosophy is that every child can learn and shine when they feel supported, encouraged, and valued. Together, we will celebrate progress, take risks, and grow our curiosity each day. A whakataukii that guides our class is: Naau te rourou, naaku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi. With your basket and my basket, the people will thrive. It reminds us that we learn best when we work together. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and your whaanau soon. Let’s make 2026 a fantastic year of learning, friendships, and discovery!
