Every student from the age of 5 – 13, who is in our school zone, has the right to attend Glenbrook School. Teachers will identify students who are achieving below their expected level. Students’ learning needs are addressed by the teachers as a team through our Student Progress Plans or SPPs. Teachers may develop an IEP (Individual Education Plan) to address the specific learning and or behaviour through the Qualities of Learning, of students with severe special needs. These students would typically have multiple agency involvement. A quality classroom programme involving targeted teaching, differentiation and knowledge of how the student learns will often allow a student to accelerate in their learning.
