Collecting students from school
Students who need to leave school during the day for appointments (e.g., doctor, dentist) must be signed out at the school office by their parent or caregiver using our Vistab electronic system. Students are to be collected from the office, not directly from classrooms.
At the end of the school day, all students must be collected by an adult from their classroom, no earlier than 2.40 pm. If a student has not been collected by 2.50 pm, they will be taken to the office. If they remain uncollected by 3.00 pm, the school will contact parents or caregivers. Please note that class teachers are often involved in meetings, whaanau appointments, and professional learning from 2.50 pm onwards.
For the safety of all tamariki, no vehicles are permitted inside the school grounds for pick-up unless there is an emergency.
Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds or cross the road without an accompanying adult. Please ensure you park safely in the main school carpark and take extra care of other departing students.
