Class Trips, Visits and EOTC
As part of our class programmes, day visits and, in some cases, overnight camps are undertaken by classes. These experiences provide rich, authentic learning opportunities and, while they involve significant planning and organisation, their educational value is immeasurable. Parents and caregivers who assist with transport or supervision are essential to the success of these excursions, and we greatly appreciate all offers of support.
All new trips must be planned at least six weeks in advance to allow sufficient time for permission forms, RAMS documentation, and payment processes to be completed.
Parents and caregivers providing transport must ensure that:
- Their vehicle has a current Warrant of Fitness and registration
- Seatbelts are available and used by all passengers
- They hold a full, valid driver’s licence
Teachers are required to complete RAMS documentation for every excursion and camp. These must be submitted and approved by the Principal before any trip can proceed. Any adults attending an overnight camp or excursion must have a current police vet completed through the school, with clearance confirmed prior to attendance. Trips may be cancelled if we are unable to secure sufficient safe supervision and transport.
