Week 10, Term 2 Newsletter
Nau mai e te whanau, Manawatia a Matariki. Matariki is a beautiful time of year for celebrating what is around us, our whanau and friends, remembering those we have lost and enjoying the land around us. We hope you can join us on Friday for our own school celebration.
Collecting Students
A reminder to whanau that you must come to the office if you are collecting your child early or late. We have a number of parents going around the side of the office building to collect children. All children must be signed out if they are leaving early and parents must do this via the office first.
Snow Camp 2025
Our Snow Camp 2025 parent meeting for current students in years 6 and 7 is tonight at 6pm in Te Rangi.
Matariki Concert
Our Glenbrook Matariki Concert begins promptly at 11am this Friday. Please be seated by 10.50am. All whanau and friends are welcome. We are collecting gold coin donations at the door to support our AIMs team. Sausage sizzle for sale on Friday $2 each.
Well done thank you to our brilliant kapa haka who performed at the Waiuku Matariki concert. 96 brilliant akonga who we are extremely proud of. Pai rawe roopu!
Calf Club Reminders
Calf Club Garden Option: Bucket, seed potato and instructions for the Calf Club garden option are available to collect from the school office this week for $3. Get them planted as soon as you can to grow the heaviest potatoes!
Chickens that were ordered, are available for pick up from 1pm. Please bring a shoe box or something similar to take them home in. Shredded paper, hot water bottles are good to keep them warm on the way home. No chickens are allowed to go home on the bus.
It is a good idea to ensure you have collected poster paper and out your Calf Club entries before the end of the week so akonga can work on them during term break.
